How Personal Data is collected

TechSpace collects personal information you provide us in connection with your use of the products and services identified in this policy. In particular, TechSpace collects information when you register for an account with us, use or access our products or services, fill out a form, complete a survey, sign up to receive one of our newsletters, make a purchase, communicate with us via third party social media sites, request support, provide us with your business card or other contact information, apply for employment or otherwise communicate with TechSpace.


What Personnal Information We Collect

We may collect, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Contact information such as names, addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses
  • Company name
  • Job function / title
  • Industry information
  • Product and service information related to your account (e.g., serial number, activation code and date purchased)
  • Transaction histories and billing information such as billing address and credit card information
  • Technical data automatically transmitted by the device you use to access our websites including device’s specifications, IP-address, cookies, date, time, location and resources you access

Personal Data Security

In order to protect your personal information, we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards, which we review regularly in keeping with technological advances. We have appointed Data Protection Officer (“DPO”) to oversee our management of personal data in accordance with the Act and we restrict access to your personal information.

Additionally, we have implemented measures to secure and protect your information, such as training our employees who handle your personal data to respect the confidentiality of such personal data and your privacy, storing personal data in a combination of secure computer storage facilities and paper based files and other records, taking steps to protect the personal data we hold from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.


Use Of Personal Information

We use your personal information to render the services you subscribed, send you the products you purchase, sign you up for our newsletters, register your account, respond to your customer service inquiries and to maintain and improve customer relationship. We also use your personal information for promotions and to comply with regulatory requirements, prevent fraud, enforce this Protection Policy and any other agreements you have entered into with us, for any purpose for which you provide consent, and for any other legitimate business purposes.


Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties

TechSpace may be required to appoint certain third parties, including TechSpace affiliates, to provide part of the services to you or assist with providing technical support, such as IT equipment providers or other suppliers. By subscribing to our services, you authorises TechSpace to subcontract the processing of personal data to subprocessors in the relevant countries where the services will be rendered. Subprocessors are in each case subject to the terms between TechSpace and the subprocessor which are no less protective than those set out in this Policy. TechSpace will inform the customer of the details of such subprocessor(s) upon written request from the customer.


Retention And Disposal Of Data

TechSpace shall not keep personal data in a form that permits identification of data subjects for longer a period than is necessary, in relation to the purpose(s) for which the data was originally collected. We will put in place measures to ensure that any of your personal data that is in our possession is destroyed and/or anonymized as soon as (i) the personal data collected is no longer needed to serve you; and (ii) retention is no longer necessary for any other legal or business purposes.


Right To Access Your Personal Data

To make a request to access or amend the personal data we hold about you, please contact the DPO in writing using the Request to Access Personal Data Form. We will require you to verify your identity and to specify what data you require.


Request To Withdraw Consent

To make a request to withdraw your consent previously given, please contact the DPO in writing and we will process your request within a reasonable time from such a request for withdrawal of consent being made, and will thereafter not collect, use and/or disclose your personal data in the manner stated in your request.


Complaint Process

If you have any complaint for feedback regarding how we are handling your personal data or about how we are complying with the law, we welcome you to contact the DPO in writing.

We reserve the right to amend the terms of this Personal Data Protection Policy at our absolute discretion. Any amended Personal Data Protection Policy will be posted on the Website.

You are deemed to have acknowledged and agreed to any amended version of this Personal Data Protection Policy if you continue to use the Website after the changes have taken place.
