What is a neural network?

Neural networks are a method of artificial intelligence that teaches computers to process information in a way that is based on the human brain. It is a type of machine learning process called deep learning that uses interconnected nodes or neurons in a layered structure similar to the human brain. This creates an adaptive system that computers use to learn from mistakes and continually improve. Artificial neural networks can therefore attempt to more accurately solve complex problems, such as document summarization or facial recognition.

Neural networks can help computers make smart decisions with limited human assistance. Because neural networks can learn and model complex, non-linear relationships between input and output data

What are neural networks used for?

Neural networks have many use cases in many different industries, such as:

-Medical diagnosis by medical image classification

-Targeted marketing by social network filtering and behavioral data analysis.

-Financial forecasting by processing old data of financial instruments

-Forecasting electrical loads and energy needs
