How to create a private cloud

Note: An important thing that should be done before activating Cloud Station Server is to create QuickConnectID

Go to Package Center and download Cloud Station Server onto the NAS

Go to Settings to enable each Shared folder Select the desired Shared folder and press Enable

The system will ask for the number of file versions that we want the system to keep. After that, press OK.

The system will notify you that we need to manage the permissions of the shared folder that we selected. Press OK to acknowledge

Return to the Overview page to download the Cloud Station Drive program. in our PC

Click to download Cloud Station Drive.

Do as the system prompts you: press Download and install. The program will be Rum

up, press Start Now

Field 1: Enter the Domain or QuickConnect ID that we created earlier.

Field 2: Enter Username.

In the last field, enter your password and press Next.

Press Proceed anyway

Now we will choose the Shared folder in the NAS and the destination location where we will store the files on our PC

Press the pencil mark in the box. NAS to select the Shared folder that we want to Sync and press OK

  1. Press the pencil mark in the PC field to select where to store files from the NAS.

Note : Select in the Create an empty CloudStation folder box, then press ok. In the Advanced section, users can set up a file filter from the NAS to our PC and the Sync Mode is Two-way sync or Download data from Cloud Station Server only.

  1. Then press Done to finish creating Cloud Station Server Drive on our PC.

Note: We can check Cloud Station users from the Client List in Cloud Station Server.

Now we can easily make our NAS a personal Cloud.
