Error 0x8004def4 in OneDrive or Microsoft OneDrive Error 0x8004def4 is an error that indicates a problem with OneDrive or data synchronization. Here are some ways to help resolve this issue.

1.Make sure you have a wired and stable network connection.

2.Check if your OneDrive has the latest version. You can update the program from the Microsoft Store or the OneDrive website.

3.Try logging out of OneDrive and logging in again. You can do this by clicking the OneDrive icon in the system tray, selecting “Settings,” and clicking on “Account.” From there, selecting “Sign out” and logging in.

4.Check if you have enough free space in OneDrive. If the free space in your OneDrive account is full, you will not be able to synchronize data.

5.Remove OneDrive from the system and reinstall it. You can do this by in the Windows “Control Panel”, selecting “Programs” and clicking on “Uninstall a program.” Then, selecting OneDrive and clicking “Uninstall.” Once OneDrive is removed, go to the OneDrive website to download and install. Reinstall OneDrive.

6.Make sure the firewall or antivirus you’re using isn’t blocking OneDrive or imposing conditions that could make OneDrive inoperable.

If you have tried all the methods and are still having issues, you should contact Microsoft OneDrive support for assistance.
