Connect Surface to a wireless network

With built-in Wi-Fi, you can connect your Surface to a Wi-Fi network and browse the internet, get apps from Microsoft Store, send email, access other computers and devices on your network,

Connect to a Wi-Fi network in Windows

Whether you’re at home, work, or out and about, chances are you’ll find a Wi-Fi network that you can connect to for internet access.

  1. Select the NetworkSound, or Battery icons on the far right side of the taskbar to open quick settings.

    The Disconnected icon appears when you’re not connected.
  2. On the Wi-Fi quick setting, select Manage Wi-Fi connections .

3.Choose the Wi-Fi network you want, then select Connect

4.Type the network password, and then select Next.
