Tips for Resolving printer scan function can’t send file to my computer.

Server Message Block (SMB) Protocol is a network file sharing protocol used in scanning on Xerox multifunction printers.  Server Message Block (SMB) is a client server, request-response protocol that provides shared access to files, printers, ports, and miscellaneous communications between nodes on a network.

The Prerequisites for SMB Scanning:

The prerequisites for setting up scanning using SMB are as follows:

NOTE: Knowledge of the network on which the printer is installed is required and may require the assistance of your System Administrator.

  • The printer must be connected to the network.
  • The IP address of the printer is required.
  • HTTP must be enabled on the device.

The Tips for fix printer scan function can’t send file

  1. Check Driver printer is already?
  2. Check network sharing open Network and Sharing Center by Win + S search “Network Status”.
  3. Find Advanced network settings Select Network and Sharing Center.

4. Click Change advanced sharing settings on sidebar on left windows.

5. Check The options to turn on all options Private and Guest or Public and Save changes.

6. Check Windows Features turn on all SMB features.

7. Restart your computer and test scan.
