How to easily split files using WinRAR

1. Download WinRAR

2. Select the file you want to split into parts > Right-click and choose WinRAR > Add to archive…

 

3. Specify the ‘Split to volumes, size’ for each part. In this example, choose 100 KB per part (note that there is an ‘Set password’ option to set a password for the file as well).

 

4. Once completed, you can rename all 3 parts by yourself. If you want to combine the files back into the original file, highlight all the files, right-click > WinRAR, and select the format to extract the files as needed.

 

 

Extract Files: This extracts the files into a new folder.
Extract Here: This extracts the files directly in this folder.
