How to connect Cat6 LAN cable

Note : Equipment that must be prepared

1. Cat6 LAN cable
2. Ethernet cable head, also known as RJ45
3. scissors Cutter
4. LAN cable crimping pliers
5. LAN cable tester

• Use a cutter to cut the wire down about 1 or 2 inches, then hold the wire and wrap the strands apart. Then use scissors. Cut the hard plastic shaft in the middle to make it short and stubby.

• Separate the wires in order as shown in the picture. Should use the “white-orange” arrangement first for direct lines (as EIA/TIA-568B). “White-orange-orange-white-green-blue-white-blue-green-white-brown-brown”

• Use scissors to cut the wire diagonally as shown in the picture. which had to be cut diagonally because When we stuff the cable into the sheath It will make it easy to stuff in.

• Take the helper LAN cable head shaft and put it in. With the pointed side pointing up. Make sure that you put it on the right side as well.

• Use scissors to cut off the sharp ends. But you don’t have to cut it until it’s stubby.

• Turn it over to see that both sides are evenly cut. If the cut is not even It will cause the efficiency of the LAN cable to be lower.

• Put the prepared RJ-45 LAN cable head into it. Flip the copper terminal over to us. Therefore it must be on the same side. Both the white and orange lines are on the left side. The casing has the pointed side pointing upwards. and the head of the LAN cable with the copper terminal facing up

• Push the head in, pushing as hard as you can to make sure the end of the copper wire is completely flush with the terminal.

• Take the prepared LAN cable head and stuff it into the hole in the cable clamp. The hole labeled “8P” (comes from the 8th line, 8-pole pair, or RJ-45)

• Press firmly and repeat 2-3 times to make sure the cable is firmly attached to the copper.

• When the first side is finished Then go and do the other side. The steps are the same as before

• Take both sides of the cable and plug it into the tester. Then press the test button. Both lights must be green in the same position as shown in the picture.
