How to Enter the Percent Symbol (%) on a Keyboard

Follow step by step:

1. Switch the keyboard language to English > hold down the Shift key > press the 5 key on the top row > this will type %.

2. Switch the keyboard language to English > hold down the Shift key > press the language switch key (above ESC) > now you can press the % key.

3. Switch the keyboard language to English > press the Caps Lock key > hold down the Shift key > press the language switch key (above ESC) > now you can press the ~ (tilde) key.

Besides typing the % symbol, the language switch button can also be used to enter other special characters, such as:

4. Press the Windows key > hold down the language switch key (above ESC) > now you can press the _ (underscore) key.

5. Press the Windows key > press and hold the language switch key (above ESC) again > now you can press the ` key.
