How to find a lost phone iOS and Android

ANDROID

1. Go to android.com/find or download the Google Find My Device app.

2. Sign in with your Google account.

3. Select the lost phone from the list.

4. View the phone’s location on the map.

5. Choose to ring the phone, display a message, or request to erase data.

6. The phone will ring at maximum volume for 5 minutes and display a phone number if locked.

 

IOS

1. Sign in to iCloud.com/find or open the Find My iPhone app on another Apple device using the same Apple ID.

2. Select the lost iPhone from the list of devices.

3. Check the iPhone’s location on the map.

4. Navigate to the coordinates.

5. Tap the phone icon to play a sound or enable Lost Mode.

6. If enabling Lost Mode, you can also enter a message to notify the finder to return it.
